I agree, I like the Wanderer's Armour and the newbie armour. The rest is ugly!

My female monk is VERY pretty and her 15k Wanderer's set does look very monkish.
However, I don't like the bald hairstyles, too. But for females there are at least two which actually look nice (don't know about males). My monk girl also can hide that ugly head tatoo under her hair...which is nice.
The other hairstyles look.. well... not really attractive... Don't know why A-Net thinks that monks are either bald or gothic...

My complain is rather that only an expert monk player can tell apart the 15k monk armor from the non 15k armor (with the sole exception of the Wanderer's set). The sets basically look the same with minor changes every now and then. For 15k I'd expect a bit more extravagance, even for a monk.

What I don't like about monk armor is all looks the same. The male FOW armor does look different than the rest.

You get about 3 styles for sandals. 2 for arms? Not sure, all look the same. A few almost identical body and pants pieces. They look like cut of the same mold. And for male 2 diferent lenghts of pants.

The 15k judge set looks the same as the 1.5k set*sight* At least we get 3 different types of tatoos.

I hope that in future updates there is some redesign to the monk line, making it less bulky. You starter set is very well designed, it goes down hill from there.

I like Monk armor. It looks better than all the male and half the female Elementalist armors and half the Necromancer armors. Most of the male Ranger armor looks like crap too.

Of course, the Censor's/Judge's armor that PvP characters have access to, as well as the tattoo pants, look like crap.

The whole loincloth part of the ascetic's armor is ridiculous; back when I wore it, I felt like I was wearing a diaper. It's too bad you can't at least dye it.

I'm not sure why the PvP Censor's armor is called Judge's, since it's just the plain bland stuff. I like my Granite Citadel Judge's armor though.. the white trim and shiny metal really helps out the look.

They need to change male gladiators armor. It looks like the guy just forced the female gladiator armor on.

Yeah I'd like to see some variety on the monks too... I think Mhenlo's getup looks pretty good though.

All I know is I'm never going full tat. Chest and arms, sure, but pants as well? No way..

I think the Saintly Rainment is some of the best looking armor in the game.

I dont know, I'm fine with my 15k judges/wanderers. I have to say Wanderer's is my favorite: it looks somewhat...warm, for lack of a better word.

Warrior Gladiator armor = ugly.

I do hope that some time they will implement some kind of monk hat thats not a tatoo. Or 15k scalp designs.

Now, now. We can all at least agree that a good majority of the armors, characters, weapons and color schemes in the game are ugly. We're not really complaining, but a thread discussing the asthetically-pleasing parts of GW would be too short a discussion for it to stay on the first page for very long.

Female monk bodies are the problem. The are weedy but have weird a$$. Those frumpy monk pants that they wear way too high - like their pants start at their underarms LMAO. I hope sorrows furnace has better female and male monk armor. And they need to fix the yukky monk underwear too.

I like the look of my monk and monks in general. Especially the bald ones, they simply look cool. Only thing I'd like to see is an option to turn off the head tattoos, you should be able to wear them without showing them.

All the monks wear jack-ups, those pants sometimes look funny.

I was abvout to buy the fissure armor for my female monk a few days ago. Thank good I saw a picture of it on some site before. It looks so terrible and doesnt even come close to the meaning of a fissure armor. I mean all the other fissure armors have something "dark & spikey" on it, except for the monks one - it looks like a egypt priest. I want a black & spikey armor for my female monk :P
